A delicious tea inspired smoothie to help
boost your metabolism.
Ingredients: (Serves 1)1 x Evalar® Bio Diet tea bag
100ml boiling water
200 ml of unsweetened apple juice
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
Honey to sweeten to taste
Handful of Fresh Strawberries
Handful of Fresh Blueberries
1 teaspoon probiotics
2 tablespoons of rolled oats
In a separate cup place the Evalar Bio Diet teabag and pour over 100ml of hot water – leave to steep for 5-10 minutes before placing in the fridge to cool.
In a blender place the apple juice, cinnamon, fresh strawberries and blueberries, probiotics, rolled oats and ice cubes – then pour in the chilled tea.
Blend for 2-3 minutes until smooth consistency and serve in a tall glass with fresh sliced strawberries.
*for a creamier version replace the apple juice with your favourite milk!
A gelatine free after dinner digestive treat!
Ingredients:1 x Evalar® Bio Diges Tea bag
100ml boiling water
250ml of aloe vera juice
½ teaspoon agar agar
Honey or Xylitol to sweeten
Handful of raspberries
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Silicon ice cube tray.
In a pot gently boil the water, tea bag and aloe vera juice for 5 minutes. Once tea has infused remove from heat and add the agar agar – stirring until it has completely dissolved. Next add the vanilla extract, sweetener and chia seeds and store. Fill a silicon ice cube tray with raspberries (the more the merrier) and pour the warm liquid over the top.
Leave to cool for 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least one and a half hours. Remove from silicon tray and enjoy this digestive after dinner treat!
*Alternatively you can pour into a glass as a dessert and top with strawberries or raspberries.
A refreshing and nourishing ice block for the whole family to enjoy!
Ingredients (Makes 6):Ice block moulds
Your choice of Evalar Herbal Tea
150ml boiling water
Fresh fruit – mango, banana, raspberries and blueberries work well.
300ml apple juice
5 mint leaves
Steep your choice of Evalar Herbal tea in 150ml water for 5 minutes until flavours are extracted. Pour the cooled tea liquid into a jug with the apple juice and stir. In the ice block moulds place the fresh fruit and mint leaves and cover with the apple juice and tea mixture. Place ice block lids on top and freeze for a minimum 3 hours.
Once frozen – leave out of fridge for 5 minutes, pull the ice block out of the mould and enjoy!
*Alternatively if you enjoy a creamier ice block, replace some of 100ml of the apple juice with fresh yoghurt or coconut cream.
A refreshing or winter warmer to help boost your immunity!
Ingredients (Serves 1):1 x Evalar® Bio Immuni – Tea bag
250ml your choice of milk
¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder or 1 cinnamon stick
Honey to sweeten to taste
½ vanilla bean pod or ¼ teaspoon vanilla essence.
In a pot, boil the Bio Immuni-Tea bag, milk, cinnamon stick and vanilla pod for 10 minutes on low heat. Remove from heat and add honey to taste. Pour into a mug, sprinkle with cinnamon and all spice on top and enjoy.
For the iced tea – Follow the directions for the hot latte, refrigerate until chilled. In a glass add some ice cubes and pour contents over – sprinkle with cinnamon and all spice and enjoy!
To get the café style latte, simply froth the milk with a milk frother once infused!
A delicious cleansing and refreshing herbal tea with a twist!
Ingredients (Serves 1 –2):1 x Evalar® Bio Puri Tea teabag
1 cup hot water
5 fresh mint leaves
5 fresh strawberries sliced
1 tablespoon of honey or agave to sweeten to taste (if needed)
1 cup soda water or light ginger beer
4 ice cubes
Pour the hot water in a cup over the tea bag and let steep for 5 minutes until all the flavour is extracted from the tea (if using soda water add the honey or agave to sweeten to taste), place in fridge or freezer to cool the tea.
Once cooled place a few mint leaves and blueberries at the bottom of a glass, add your ice cubes, cold tea and soda water or ginger beer, then top with remaining blueberries and mint leaves. Stir and Enjoy!
An herbal twist on a breakfast favourite.
Ingredients (Serves 2):1 cup rolled oats
100ml hot water
50ml apple juice
1 Evalar tea bag
½ cup natural yoghurt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 green apple grated
¼ cup walnuts
¼ crushed almonds
Blueberries and strawberries to serve.
Add the boiling water in a cup with the tea bag of your choice, let soak for 5 minutes – remove teabag and chill. Mix the grated apple, rolled oats, chilled herbal tea, apple juice, yoghurt and cinnamon in a bowl until well worked. Cover and place in fridge for 1 hour to overnight.
Layer the nut and berry mixture with the soaked ingredients in a glass cup or bowl as desired, sprinkle with cinnamon and a handful of blueberries and enjoy!
Add honey to sweeten and extra yoghurt to taste.
